A lightweight DECT cordless handset with a 1.8-inch colour display, HD voice and a full-duplex speakerphone. Supplied with a charger cradle, rechargeable battery, belt clip and power adapter.

Built For Staff Who Move Around The Site

Staff who are rarely at a desk still need to answer calls properly, not miss them or shout into a speaker across a room. The W73H is a 112 g cordless handset with a 1.8-inch 128x160 colour display, HD voice across a 100 Hz-7 kHz frequency response, noise cancellation and a full-duplex speakerphone, so a call taken in a warehouse aisle or a stockroom sounds like a call taken at a desk. A 3.5 mm headset jack, a belt clip and hearing aid compatibility cover the ways people actually carry and use a handset through a shift.

Coverage And Range

The handset works to the CAT-iq 2.0 DECT standard on the 1880-1900 MHz band used in Australia. Coverage reaches up to 50 m indoors and up to 300 m outdoors, both in ideal conditions, so real-world figures depend on walls, racking and site layout.

Battery Life

A 1010 mAh lithium-ion battery gives up to 35 hours of talk time in ideal conditions and up to 400 hours on standby. The supplied charger cradle runs at DC 5V/0.6A output.

System Capacity

The local phonebook holds up to 100 entries. In the box: W73H handset, charger cradle, rechargeable battery, belt clip and power adapter.

Built To Last

At 144.5 mm x 48 mm x 21 mm and 112 g, the handset sits comfortably in a hand or on the supplied belt clip. It is rated for operating temperatures from -10 to +50°C (+14~122°F).

Frequently Asked Questions

What Comes In The Box?

The W73H handset, a charger cradle, a rechargeable battery, a belt clip and a power adapter (100-240 V ~ 50/60 Hz, 0.2 A input, DC 5V/0.6A output).

Can I Use This Handset On Its Own?

No. The W73H is a cordless handset and must be registered to a compatible Yealink DECT base station to make or receive calls. If you do not have a base yet, choose a base-and-handset package such as the W73P.

How Long Does The Battery Last?

The 1010 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 35 hours talk time in ideal conditions and up to 400 hours standby. Both are manufacturer best-case figures; expect less with heavy speakerphone use, a weak signal to the base or a handset that spends the day at the edge of coverage.

What Range Should I Expect?

Up to 50 m indoors and up to 300 m outdoors, both in ideal conditions. Indoors, brick, concrete, steel shelving and lift shafts reduce that noticeably, so place the base centrally and test the far corners of your site before rolling handsets out.

Can I Use A Headset With It?

Yes. There is a 3.5 mm headset jack on the handset. The handset also has a full-duplex speakerphone with noise cancellation, and it is hearing aid compatible.

How Many Contacts Can Each Handset Store?

The local phonebook holds 100 entries per handset. If your staff need a larger shared directory, plan on using a directory hosted by your PBX or SIP provider instead of the handset phonebook.

Is It Suitable For A Noisy Work Area?

It has noise cancellation, a full-duplex speakerphone and HD voice with a 100 Hz-7 kHz frequency response, and it is rated for -10 to +50°C and 10 to 95% humidity, so it copes with warehouses, workshops and cool rooms as well as offices.
